About the Job – Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE)

As a Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE), you will work in a ground-based role, helping train and evaluate pilots using flight simulators. You will ensure pilots meet required safety, performance, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct simulator checks, pilot assessments, and licensing tests
Deliver training using Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD)
Provide type rating and ground school training sessions
Conduct transition training (Fixed Base & Full Flight Simulator)
Perform recency and refresher training as per company guidelines
Train and assess instructors and examiners
Prepare detailed reports on pilot performance and progress
Recommend extra training for pilots who need improvement
Suggest improvements to training methods, safety, and procedures
Support training projects and course development when required
Requirements
Must hold or have held an ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License)
Minimum 1500 flight hours on multi-pilot aircraft
At least 6 months experience as TRI or SFI
Valid SFI/TRI certification for relevant aircraft type
Strong communication and leadership skills
Good understanding of aviation training standards and procedures
