Senior Auditor – Internal Audit | Emirati Talent
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Internal Auditor to execute internal audit assignments in line with the approved audit plan. The role focuses on evaluating risk management processes, assessing internal controls, and preparing professional audit reports aligned with required standards.
This position plays a key role in strengthening governance, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Execute audit engagements according to internal audit methodology and timelines
Maintain strong professional relationships with audit clients
Escalate issues and key findings to Internal Audit Management
Update process universe, risk registers, and control matrices
Follow up on outstanding management action plans
Identify key risks and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls
Prepare detailed process documentation (narratives & flowcharts)
Ensure audit documentation is clear, complete, and supports conclusions
Ensure compliance with internal audit standards and corporate ethics
Identify opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement
Apply Human Capital policies and organizational procedures
Requirements
Studying towards or partially completed professional certification (e.g., CIA, ACCA, CPA, CISA or relevant field)
3+ years of professional experience in audit or related discipline
Experience in operational, technology, food safety, analytics, supply chain, or merchandising audits (preferred)
Strong quality focus and objective-driven mindset
Excellent planning and prioritization skills
Ability to manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously
Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
