As a Mermaid Performer, you’ll bring magic to life underwater, engaging guests with spectacular performances and creating memories that last forever.
Key Responsibilities
Role & Responsibilities:
Perform in underwater shows, meet-and-greets, and themed events
Swim gracefully in a mermaid tail, executing choreographed or improvisational routines
Participate in rehearsals, costume fittings, and promotional activities
Maintain physical fitness, water safety, and dive proficiency
Care for mermaid costumes and equipment; report any issues immediately
Maintain dive logs and follow all safety protocols
Attend meetings and trainings as required
Maintain a safe and professional environment around people and animals
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Requirements / Skills:
Certified free diver with recognized certification
Strong swimming skills; able to hold breath underwater for extended periods
Experience in aquatic performance, synchronized swimming, diving, or dance preferred
Comfortable performing in front of large crowds, including children
Good physical fitness and endurance; able to work in costume for extended periods
CPR, first aid, or lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain)
Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
Confident in written and spoken English
Positive attitude, professionalism, and responsible behavior
