Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Base Maintenance
Job Description
Join Emirates Base Maintenance, delivering comprehensive aircraft maintenance services including inspections, system repairs, cabin retrofits, and aircraft deliveries for Airbus A380, A350, and Boeing 777 fleets.
As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will carry out routine and complex aircraft maintenance, defect rectification, and ensure compliance with regulatory and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform aircraft maintenance and servicing in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures.
Ensure all off-aircraft tasks (spares, hold items, tooling) follow company procedures with complete documentation.
Troubleshoot defects using appropriate tools and processes, carrying out component changes as necessary.
Maintain all activities in adherence to safety regulations, reporting deficiencies and participating in safety culture initiatives.
Maintain clean work areas and proper housekeeping standards.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and senior engineers, reporting service delays, incidents, and accidents with detailed analysis.
Manage staff performance, conduct reviews, set SMART goals, and prepare development plans.
Attend recurrent training to maintain skills and compliance with CAR 145 regulations.
Requirements
Licensed Aircraft Engineer TE.03:
Degree/Honors (12+3) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering, or Maintenance Engineering Licence.
10+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years as certifying staff.
Minimum 2 aircraft type approvals, including at least one Emirates aircraft type (A380, A350, B777).
Eligible for GCAA, UK CAA, or EASA license conversion.
Fully conversant with air legislation and international maintenance standards.
Licensed Aircraft Engineer TE.02:
Degree/Honors (12+3) in relevant engineering or Maintenance Engineering Licence.
8+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years as certifying staff.
Minimum 2 aircraft type approvals, including at least one Emirates aircraft type.
Eligible for GCAA, UK CAA, or EASA license conversion.
