About the job
We're seeking a Trade Floor Support Specialist who will provide direct support to Equities traders, middle office users, and Compliance teams on the trading floor. This person must have experience with front‑office trading applications within Equities, including U.S. Market Making, ETFs, Electronic Trading, Global Program Trading, and Convertible Bonds. This role requires 5-days onsite in NYC!

Key Responsibilities

Provide front-office technology support to equities traders, middle office users, and compliance teams on the trading floor
Monitor trading platforms and FIX connectivity to ensure stable, reliable system performance
Troubleshoot and resolve real-time trading and compliance-related issues
Communicate major incidents, impacts, and resolutions clearly to stakeholders and senior management
Gather requirements and translate them into functional specs, while maintaining documentation, runbooks, and support materials

Requirements

Profile

5+ years of experience supporting front-office equities trading applications in a high-volume, mission-critical environment
Strong knowledge of trading workflows, FIX protocol, OMS platforms, market data, and post-trade processes
Experience supporting regulatory and compliance requirements, including trade reporting and market structure regulations
Proficiency with SQL, JIRA, Excel, and scripting/automation tools for troubleshooting, analysis, and process improvement
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment
Ability to commute onsite 5-days per week into Midtown Manhattan is a firm requirement.
