Majid Al Futtaim Retail is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fish Monger to join its hypermarket operations team in the UAE. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in food preparation, hygiene, and delivering excellent service to customers. As a Fish Monger, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting fresh fish products while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cut, and portion fish according to company standards and customer preferences.
Accurately wrap, weigh, label, and price fish products for sale.
Create attractive and well-organized fish displays that meet store presentation guidelines.
Assist customers with product information, recommendations, and special requests.
Promote additional seafood products and inform customers about current offers and promotions.
Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards during all daily tasks.
Properly operate, clean, and sanitize fish preparation equipment and workstations.
Inspect products daily and remove any damaged, spoiled, or expired fish items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the seafood section at all times.
Requirements
Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification (preferred).
1–2 years of experience in a similar seafood, fish preparation, or retail role.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Attention to detail when preparing and presenting fresh products.
Ability to work in a multicultural team environment.
Good listening skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards is an advantage.
