Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for high-end interior renovation projects
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation
Gather, analyze, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
Develop competitive bid proposals aligned with project requirements
Maintain and update cost databases and pricing benchmarks
Collaborate closely with project managers and leadership during preconstruction
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining premium quality standards
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in high-end residential construction
Strong knowledge of New York City construction standards, materials, and processes
Ability to interpret architectural plans and technical specifications
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines efficiently
