We are seeking a creative and strategic communications professional to lead global campaigns focused on teen safety and family support. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in crafting TikTok’s global narrative, advising key stakeholders, and ensuring consistent, compelling messaging that reflects our mission to inspire creativity and bring joy while prioritizing user safety.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute multi-market communications campaigns that build trust and highlight TikTok’s commitment to teen safety and family support.
Create engaging content including blog posts, media pitches, launch materials, and social media copy to amplify global announcements.
Collaborate with Product, Trust & Safety, Legal, Public Policy, and regional communications teams to ensure messaging accuracy and alignment.
Advise and prepare spokespeople for media interviews, press conferences, and presentations.
Monitor consumer sentiment, cultural trends, and global issues to ensure storytelling remains relevant, timely, and impactful.
Provide communications counsel on consumer-facing safety initiatives and campaigns.
Contribute to crisis and press office communications as needed, ensuring professional and effective handling of sensitive matters.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in consumer PR, brand communications, or creative agency environments.
Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-market campaigns from concept to execution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
Experience in press office operations, crisis communications, or media relations.
