As part of the Maintenance Programmes and Configurations team, you will contribute to the operational reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance of a global airline connecting over 140 destinations.
This is a senior-level engineering opportunity designed for experienced aviation professionals who excel in maintenance planning, aircraft configuration management, and fleet modification control. You will lead the development and optimisation of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMP), ensuring full compliance with airworthiness regulations while driving operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) and Supplemental Maintenance Programme (SMP)
Manage fleet modification initial setup processes for Airbus, Boeing, engines, and components, ensuring timely implementation of Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs)
Oversee accurate configuration management of aircraft, engines, and components to ensure full traceability and compliance
Coordinate with OEMs including Airbus and Boeing, as well as engine manufacturers, to incorporate updates into Maintenance Planning Data (MPD) and Maintenance Review Board Reports (MRBR)
Validate Special Engineering Work Cards (SEWC), Engineering Orders (EOs), and maintenance tasks to ensure regulatory and OEM compliance
Investigate and resolve technical escalations related to maintenance programmes and configuration control
Define and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal departments
Monitor and control departmental KPIs to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Support departmental budgeting and resource planning aligned with fleet growth
Ensure alignment with internal policies and international aviation regulatory standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering) OR holder of a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence
Minimum 10+ years of experience in Engineering Maintenance Planning, Aircraft Maintenance Programmes, or Technical Services
Significant experience in maintenance planning and configuration management within a commercial aviation environment
Proven supervisory or managerial experience
Strong understanding of airworthiness regulations, ADs, SBs, MPD, and MRBR processes
Experience working with OEMs and aviation regulatory authorities
Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
