Project Controller – Aircraft Engineering
Job Description
The Engineering Projects section at The Emirates Group specializes in evaluating, specifying, and managing new and used aircraft acquisitions. From initial evaluation and assembly inspection to final delivery, the team ensures all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and functionality are met.
As a Project Controller, you will manage detailed aircraft specifications, cabin customization costs, and coordinate new aircraft deliveries from Boeing, Airbus, and leased sources. You will support cross-functional teams and maintain critical project records for smooth entry into service.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain Fleet Matrix and detailed aircraft specification database.
Prepare and distribute Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) lists; coordinate deliverables with Delivery Managers.
Conduct financial and cost analysis of aircraft customization (NPV, escalation factors, invoices).
Support cabin/IFE engineers with tracking changes, costs, and complex requests.
Prepare comparative technical analysis for VP-Engineering Projects and Project Managers.
Plan and coordinate aircraft delivery schedules and liaise with multiple departments.
Lead and manage technical officers and administration staff; conduct performance reviews.
Manage departmental IT budgets and coordinate IT support.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Engineering, or Management.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering Projects.
Knowledge of aircraft types, Emirates layouts, and engineering activities.
Familiarity with aircraft customization processes and delivery requirements.
Experience in Technical Services or Project functions.
Strong analytical and computer skills.
