JOB TITLE
Allocator | MAF Lifestyle | Planning & Merchandising
ROLE SUMMARY
The Allocator is the key point of contact for suppliers, ensuring that all stock arrives on time and inventory levels remain accurate across stores. This role is responsible for allocating new stock, managing replenishment, and supporting timely product launches for each season, helping the business maintain availability and maximize sales.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Merchandising team in managing stock availability, transfers, and allocations as guided by the Senior Planner.
Ensure timely allocation of products to stores to minimize loss of sale.
Build strong relationships across the Planning & Merchandising team and stores to understand business needs and merchandising strategies.
Manage the product life cycle, including initial allocation, replenishment, and redistribution of goods across stores or channels.
Maintain high standards in reporting and ensure data accuracy.
Conduct regular store visits with the team to monitor stock and execution.
Liaise closely with warehouses, stores, and Head Office departments for smooth stock operations.
Contribute to sustainability initiatives in line with the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow strategy.
Requirements
High School Certificate (Graduate in a related field is an advantage).
Minimum 3 years of retail industry experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
