CAD Senior Specialist | MAF Entertainment
ROLE SUMMARY
The CAD Senior Specialist supports the Design Managers and the Design & Development team by producing accurate technical and visual documentation. This role translates design concepts into production-ready CAD and 3D files, coordinates with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, and ensures that all deliverables meet MAF Entertainment’s high standards. As the in-house expert in AutoCAD and 3D visualization, this specialist delivers detailed drawings, layouts, renders, and presentation materials to support design approvals and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES (Role Profile)
Prepare and maintain accurate AutoCAD drawings across all design stages, converting sketches and concepts into standardized CAD documentation.
Manage drawing libraries, CAD standards, layers, and blocks to ensure consistency and accuracy in all deliverables.
Review consultant and contractor shop drawings to ensure alignment with approved design intent and incorporate mark-ups efficiently.
Produce high-quality 3D models, renders, visuals, and walkthroughs for design reviews, presentations, and approvals.
Support the preparation of presentation boards, diagrams, axonometric views, and other visual materials to clearly communicate design intent.
Coordinate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure functional, technical, and authority requirements are incorporated.
Ensure quality control by verifying dimensions, annotations, and compliance with CAD standards.
Stay up-to-date with emerging digital, visualization, and AI-enabled tools to improve CAD workflows and team capabilities.
Requirements
5–8 years of experience in CAD drafting and 3D visualization, preferably in Leisure, Entertainment, Retail, or Cinema projects.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), including architectural layering, Xrefs, and drawing management.
Skilled in 3D modeling and rendering using tools like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Enscape, Twinmotion, or Lumion.
Proven experience with detailed fit-out drawings, joinery details, and technical coordination.
Experience with GCC projects and knowledge of mall/landlord submission processes is an advantage.
